This is a Bowden J-head mount designed for Rostock - it uses a 4mm PTFE tube and Pneumatic fitting rather than a plastic clamp for the tube.

The Sketchup file is added so feel free to modify and share if you make another one for a different printer or hot-end.

Does anyone know what the name of the blue collect part is? I'd imagine it being called a bowden tube locking collet, but Google does'nt show them. Basically the little blue collar that holds the bowden tube into place, it's almost always blue and plastic. I can't find one online to print and I destroyed it pulling it out.

RichRap, thank you for posting this modification (remix). I am building my own version of a Rostock delta printer and this is very helpful. Are you sharing the design of the J-Head holder that you posted on your article? I have an identical J-Head and would like to use your design if at all possible. Thanks -Ralph

Can you upload the source file for this, I would like to modify it for 1.75mm filament and secure with aluminium j head mount instead. Thanks.

what are the bolts sticking out for?

Can you point me to the mating part that holds the hotend up into your mount?

IE for 3mm filament.

Just found 1/8" to 6mm pneumatic fittings on Ebay! How embarrassing.
