Description

I went to the Cupcake Social 2.0 event in NYC on May 7, and won this awesome pink apron in their raffle.
Being an avid cupcake baker and just loving pink clothing, this was the perfect opportunity for making my long-term vision of being able to bake cupcakes while tweeting my progress in real-time finally becoming a reality.

So here I present: The Keyboard Cupcake Apron.

The design was inspired by Zach's keyboard pants:
thingiverse.com/thing:589.
Also thanks to Zach for giving me his leftover keyboard!

Instructions

1) Laser cut the the SVG file out of your material of choice.

2) Sew stitches around the edge of the keyboard. The keyboard is made from silicone and it sews pretty well. To make the middle of the keyboard stick, look for point on the keyboard where the front and back silicone sheets are glued together. These are safe places to make stitches. Another option is stitching through just the top layer, but be careful and use relatively large stitches since the silicone has a tendency of breaking.

3) Enjoy and go bake some cupcakes.
