Improved Rep 2 Fan Duct - Solidworks Export by toybuilder Mar 14, 2013

Description

This is just a holding place for exporting MakesALot's Alibre part file to a Solidworks part file. I happen to have an Alibre Translate license, and saw someone requested it in SLDPRT format. I hope this helps.

I have no way to test to see if this SLDPRT file is usable or preserves useful information.

I used this part in SolidWorks and saved as a STL file and was able to print it just fine so the export to SolidWorks worked just fine.
well thanks for your reply i never did figure out how to make it solid but maybe someone else can ;)
I'm sorry to say that I don't have SolidWorks, so I have no idea. I just exported from Alibre because someone wanted to see if he could look at Makealot's design within SolidWorks.

how do you make it a solid? because its just surface right now?
I cant get knit to work it seems hollowso will it print?, how can i modify it
well it prints fine and the StL creates it as a solid but i cant run a exstruded Cut into it, because it is ust a surface and i couldnt get the thin feature to work/ dont know how to make the surface into a solid part.
