Vintage Marquee Letters
by cowkitty, published
No dual extrusion needed-- the bulbs are a separate model from the letters. :)
I've always wanted some vintage movie theater marquee letters. Finally, my glamorous cat can see her name in lights.
Check one off the bucket list. fistbumps her cat
Printed on my Makerbot Replicator 2 on standard settings. Gold PLA for the letters + Natural for the bulbs.
No raft or supports for the letters, but use a raft for the bulbs. Plate multiple at a time to avoid tedious insanity.
- Print letters
- Print the bulbs
- Assemble then refuse all incoming forms of human communication unless done via printed marquee signs
BONUS: Use glow-in-the-dark fillament for the bulbs
