Flat-footed Mickey Mouse by harryslotwiner Mar 18, 2013

Description

I had trouble printing offcentercreations's Mickey Mouse design because the feet are rounded and I don't like to print with supports so I cut off the bottom of the feet.

I layed mickey on his back with a slight angle. Printed with raft, supports, 4 walls and slowed the speed down a bit. Print came out pretty good, just needed some cleaning from supports.

I have tried EVERYTHING imaginable to get this model to print with NO good results. After at least 10 print attempts, all I have to show are a LOT less filament and a few headless Mickeys. Some info on infill, layer height/speed etc. would be awesome! I am now officially giving up on printing this model until more info is provided. Thanks!

Should this be done with supports?

i made this Mickey for my 4 yr old grand daughter on my 2X with ABS and when she saw it her eyes let up and she squealed "i love Mickey--then a shadow passed over her face-- she frowned -i thought she was about to cry - Papa his tail is gone!!!?

Careful with Mickeys right ankle. Taking him off the printer his ankle snapped with very little pressure.

FYI: Mickey's left button is disconnected.

Disney is so going to take you in your sleep.

Hahahaha. It's funny cause its true :)
