I can't get the parts to fit. Is there some special slicing settings?

You can take the files into Cura (free program), right click and choose "split object into parts". Then you can pull one of the items off the build platform and save the file under a new file name. Delete that part. Drag the other part onto the build platform and then save the file under another new file name. I have done this for other parts that have had troubles printing together.

Would be better if this was 2 stl files (top and bottom), that way if something goes wrong you don't lose the whole print. Can't get this to print without something going awry
