<p>Could you mount the Magnetic Linear Encoder on this?</p>

<p>I was planning on pasting a vernier scale on the side. The 'Magnetic Linear Encoder' might be a little wide. Another option would be a capacitive linear encoder. If there is interest I can rebuild this parametrically in OpenSCAD format.</p>

<p>Anyone up to doing a pdf? (Because they are easiest to print to scale cross-platform.)</p>

<p>Printed on a Stratasys Prodigy Plus with support disabled. I tried to design it to be printable on a MakerBot/RepRap if you can achieve a 45 degree self support angle.</p>

<p>These are /gorgeous/ calipers. Very nice.</p>
