The UFO will take over an hour to print it has a hefty diameter, fitting the build platform of a Printrbot Jr nicely. Each weapon will take about half an hour, these estimates are for 50% fill.
The flange for attachments is 17.8 millimeters in diameter, with 2.8mm clearance on each side for snap guides. The attachment base hole is 18mm in diameter with a slight inset on the bottom side. This is to account for wider first layer filament distribution. Each part may need some finishing after printing for it to snap together.
The included Sketchup 8 file UFOCombatFDM_UFO1attachBase.skp provides a starting point for any UFO weapons or surveillance extras you might want to create and attach. Each model here was run through cloud.netfabb.com, run this for new attachments also.
