Instructions

1. Print rotor and stator.
2. Attach magnets to the outer rim of the rotor (as described in the above link, modify as necessary for the design.)
3. Drill a hole in the stator that is big enough to accommodate the axle attached to the rotor (and a baring if you want it).
4. Wind wire around each spoke of the stator (again, the link above should help).
5. If I understand properly, you have to attach a metallic piece to the top of each spoke of the stator to create the electromagnet. I would bend a small square of steel so it contours to the plastic and then epoxy it to the top. Make sure it's not too thick so the rotor will spin freely. You might want to scale down the stator a touch as well.
6. Put the stator on the axle.
7. Hook up the coils to some kind of ESC. I haven't been able to find a resource that explains how this happens yet, but I'm going to look around and see what I can find.

When I eventually get a 3D printer and print this sucker out, I'll try to post a link with more complete (tested) instructions with pictures.
