Summary

a handy 3d printable 80mm fan guard I whipped together for a project I was working on. I forgot to reposition the object before uploading the file so you will need to be sure to place it properly before printing. Enjoy. A big shout out goes to Sander from MakeThisReal.com for letting me use his 3d printer and getting me addicted to 3d printing.
The second version of the file has holes instead of pins.

Instructions

download position and print. The pins are intended to use those little metal clips to hold the fan on amusing you can find some. nuts can also work.

Sorry about that I have now Idea how I got that confused. I changed the name and description.

I can indeed confirm this is actually an 80mm model. Checked in sketchup and printed to confirm.

after laying it down to print in netfabb and exporting it, when printed it fits my 80mm fan rather than the 70mm one I wanted it for
