Summary

Model rocket/missile version 1.

I did NOT make this, that credit goes to JStults on the Shapeways site. However I did make structural changes to the fragile tail section, making it more durable.

The original can be found here: http://www.shapeways.com/model/576519/mini-estes-sears-haack-ringfin.html

Approx 5in long.

Uses Estes A10-3T motors.

Any videos of this rocket in flight? I might print one of these for my nephew.

Sorry, none as of yet.

Thanks for sharing your improvements!

The OD is sized to fit inside 3/4" schedule 40. With an FDM part (makerbot) I found that the engine cavity was a bit undersized, and with SLS nylon (shapeways) I found that I had to put a bit of tape on the motor to get a good friction fit.
