I made this adapter to save time when i need to chage the .5 jhead with the .35 V5. Usually the extruders for jhead are not compatible with the V5, with the adapter you dont need to change extruder anymore!


Print two adapters and assemble as in the picture. There are nut traps to simplify the assembly and Is not necessary remove the adapters to mount jhead again.

Hi meyo! Thanks for your feedback :) i think you need a fan to avoid this, i had another problem related to ptfe insulator that gets softer at highter temperatures. I suggest to upgrade your hotend to a better version like V9 or jhead, the v5 caused me soooo many problems!

I thought that this part would save my life, but in PLA material it softens and bends as fast as the hotend warms up. Big mess, big trouble, but very very nice idea, i'd rather print it with ABS?
