I wanted a tyre that would serve well on winter and summertime, and after some testing I have come to this design. It is durable enough to withstand some rock impacts, and also it has enough surface on the outside to stand well against mechanical abrasion.

The grip I get out of these wheels is great!

It fits on the standard 1:10 RC torque transfer nuts (12 mm), and has a hole for 4 mm shaft.

  • Print two of both wheel types, flat side down. I have found 0.2 mm layer height and 0.5 infill to work great. I recommend ABS plastic. Support is not needed, but it might help with printing the mounting nut recess.
  • Mount scoop facing the driving direction so that it grips whatever gets under the tyres.
  • Have fun!

How could I scale this down for 1:16 scale Slash?

Great design! I'm going to make them bigger and keep the hub the right size because that's really the only issue. Seriously, good job.

This is a great design, thank you for sharing. I have not figured out the design part of this hobby yet. I've printed your tires for my Traxxas Slash 4x4 Ultimate and they seem to be somewhat on the small side. Is it possible that you could make them 1" bigger? I know I could scale the tire however that would cause the hub to be to large. If you pm me your Paypal I could pay for your time.

http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1248506 You're welcome. It's not exactly an inch, but I know what you want. I needed the same thing lol.

I need to make some adjustments to the mode, can you release the original files please?

Hey, sorry, I cannot upload the original files. They were lost when my old HDD decided to stop working :/

Hey love your design,

I was just wondering if you could please post the file so I could edit it.
