Description

I made this in three parts so the overhangs would print. The top and bottom are stepped rather than curved so that I could better control how it printed on my printer.

Have added a middle with a hole in to use less plastic.

Instructions

1. Print one of each part (top, middle & bottom)
2. Glue them together
3. Run around making starwars sound effects (optional)

When i try to open the middle parts, i have an error in slic3r:

The model has overlapping or self-intersecting facets

And i can't to print!

Someone to help me?

same problem here

Really cool. Printed it as one of the first prints on my recently arrived thing-o-matic. Looks great.

Maybe the middle piece could be hollow in the middle to save plastic and make it a bit easier to stick together? At least on my printer, the top doesn't come out completely flat, so it doesn't fit so nicely without sanding it down a bit. It's less than a mm, but making it hollow might help.
