This gauge measures the roundness of a corner of a part. This is useful when trying to reverse engineer the dimensions of a part.

The image should be self explanatory. Hold gauge to part, read number next to the curve that most closely fits the part.

Are the number 1-10mm radius or something imperial?

Yes it is metric, and I am pretty sure it's radius and not diameter but that should be pretty easy to figure out.
