3D printer shaker / maraca. No gluing or beads required! by bitswype Apr 7, 2013

Description

This is a fully 3d printed shaker. The beads are printed into the shaker and cannot escape! No need to pause the print midway and add beads or glue it together at the end. This is ready shake as soon as its printed!

I made a derivative github.com/o-jasper/various_physibles/tree/master/artsy/vasable_maraca from your source code.

Your source code is pretty good.(often variables arent even used.. even some of the reprap openscad has(had?) that) Just added usage of `module`, a header, more comments and made it printable as a vase.(it can be toggled) I think i might make better openscad if i started coloring stuff too.
My daughter loved these. Great design!
well, I tried to do a minkowski sum with a sphere to round it out, but openscad REALLY doesn't like that. I thought making it more hand friendly would be easy...

How fantastic! Thank you for writing up that article! I'll take your recommendation to heart and see if I cant do something about the bottom edge and make it more hand-friendly.
