Summary

Nut knobs are useful for many purposes in DIY projects.

All the different knobs in the gallery are made with this Customizer.

I have added some sample knobs for M3 nuts as there are most common used size for 3d printer.
The screwdriver handle for standard 1/4" hex bits is surely a unusual application, but it works great. Especially if you need a extra small one for your project.

If you got problems getting the knob in place, simply heat up the nuts a bit (about 60-80 °C / 140-175 °F) and it easily slips in place.

Please refer the instructions to see the setting I have used for the sample files.

Instructions

I print my knobs with:
20% infill
0.2mm layer (0.3mm should also be perfect)

Tip: use the expert->cross-sectionfunction for easier customizing. But don't forget to reset it before creation.

Very nice. I have been playing with it some and wondered how you created the "mini screwdrivers"? I can get teh shape and hole rigt.. except the opening is in the opposite end. How do you decided which end to close and which to keep open? (I have looked advanced).

Edit: I did read and try the instructions, but there is no setting to decide which end to put the hole. When jusing the exact settings I always get the bit-hole in the opposite end.

did you already managed? I did not see that you have edit your comment. I have checked the settings of Mini Bit Screwdriver V1.1.1. They still work great. The trick is, you have to set Screw Hole Length less than 100% otherwise you will get a hole on top of the handle. You also have to set "Bottom Thickness" to zero, otherwise you can't insert the bit. - good luck -

I'll give it another go. The problem with "bottom thickness" is I can't pick which end is the bottom :)

It is some days ago, but did you already read the instructions? I have listed the parameters there. I hope they still work.
