These plaques are copies of public art from Carlsbad, California. Walls along walkways at parks near the sea are decorated with brass plaques of ocean life . The fish are about 7 inches long and fit nicely on a Replicator platform (see image above). They were digitized with 123D Catch.


The full size plaques take some time to print. The smaller versions are scaled by about 0.6 and print much more quickly. I used 5% infill and two shells and printed them directly on the build platform.
