Summary

This is a concept for a core that will join two halves of the Cylindrical Slide Rule by Mortimer.
I haven't had a chance to try printing this yet. The wall thickness and slot width will likely have to be adjusted in order to allow it to snap into place, yet hold together without falling out.

Instructions

First, print the two parts of the Cylindrical Slide Rule
Then print this part (Joiner.stl)
Finally snap it all together.

Do NOT attempt to print assembled.stl
I only included that to illustrate the whole assembly.

I tried making one of these today.
It did not work.
The slots need to be wider to allow it to contract enough to fit through the center of the slide rule.
I think the wall needs to be thicker, also. It was very brittle.
I will make changes and update the files as I have time.
