Summary

I love the game Starfarers of Catan (published by Mayfair Games Inc, out of print), but the starships that it came with break frequently (my friends are a little excitable). This part takes the place of the stock starship. Print in the colors red, green, yellow, and blue to have a full set matching the other game pieces.

Instructions

Print the body, base, and square peg. After the parts print, put the peg in the base and superglue around the peg. Put the body onto the peg (gluing it to the peg and base) and wait for the glue to dry.

When using this starship instead of the original motherships, you can substitute "rolling your mothership" with a six-sided die. A roll of 1, 2, or 6 triggers an encounter in the movement phase.

Caution: This ship doesn't fit in the game box as well as the originals and the colored caps don't fit on top of the antenna.

How much (either in length or in grams) 1.75mm diameter filament does it take to make one of these? Also, are the photos showing one that is ABS or PLA? May I also ask what the resolution setting was? The printer I have access to can print to a 100 micron level of "accuracy".
What are the dimensions (in inches) of the largest piece?

I have two sets of this game and the expansion and most of the ships have some pieces broken off. I'll second Stamp's Thank you! It'll be nice to have a set of unbroken ships.

omg, i broke pieces of the ship, i'm so happy this exists! Thank you!
