You cut out the piece. Waterjet or metal capable laser cutter. Stainless steel is ideal but aluminum or normal steel will also work. Unplug your toaster first. Or leave it plugged in if you're feeling frisky. Bend the tabs around the wire frame inside the toaster slot. Put in some toast. Wait for it to pop up. Rejoice! For this is the day that you have made the Lord!
Add your favorite spread. Enjoy.
