When I got new mudguards for my bike I didn't want to bend the metal support rods again because the lock holder of the tubus lock was in the way. So I designed a replacement part that can be mounted at an angle.

The regular part is also included.

Not much to it, just print and make sure it's strong enough so it doesn't break.

the .scad files are the source material. They are text files that can be rendered to stl with openscad (see openscad.org).
You can customize the thing with the parameters in the beginning (or change it completely). In your case changing spareh to 5 should do the trick.

I'm looking for options to mount my lock to my Tubus carrier with 10mm Rods. Would you mind uploading the CAD file (Iges/Step/..) so I can modify the part to fit my carrier?

Hi Daniel and Johannes,

I am also planing one mounting my abus U lock to a other tubus carrier with 10mm Rods. Daniel, it would be very nice of you to upload a Step file. Johannes, did you ever finish your mount? If I succeed with mine, I will upload the files and pictures here :)

I never did. I didn't havet the time to recreate this kind of holder from scratch and continued carrying the lock in my backpack... If you come up with a working design, I'm interested in testing it though. :)
