Featured Thing!

Description

This is a (horrible... haHahAhahhaahhhaahHHaaAA) simple bottle I made in a (horrible... hahahaaaarrrrgghhhh) openscad.

Just intended to show that http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7703 by aubenc :-) can be worth for some designs.

The worse in this bottle is that... IT'S EMPTY !! we'll need to find a way to fix that.

The best is that... it's perfectly usable. The walls are 1mm thick.

The biggest outer diameter is 65mm (or may be 64mm... I don't remember).

I was not paying much attention to center the build platform so it was crashing against the z-extender. You can see that in one of the pictures.

I almost forget to mention... this thing is 220mm tall

Hope you don't mind that I don't mind to see it in your blog :-P Thanks!!

It will still take a while before I'm ready to use PLA, anyway, I've added your shop to my favorites. In the meantime: lots of success with your business !!!
Oh it's not horrrible...I love it! Hope you don't mind but I featured it in a blog :)

That would be sweet, but I'd miss the XY too much.. Some folks on IRC were suggesting this: thingiverse.com/thing:4213

That'd give me 10mm more, and then *maybe* 10mm more from roof-raising if I push it. I don't think I could beat your print record unless I made new, larger base towers for Zydac's Z-extentder... Way more work than I want to do - I'm just happy to not have to worry about stuff being too tall now. ;

<p>Now this...</p>

<p>or, even better, remove the lower components of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4716, install longer rods plus http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7703 and then print a scaled up bottle with a size of 100x100x300, that would make one of the biggest things cupcake'd (if not the biggest)</p>

<p>oups! NO! I forgot that my extender reduces XY, anyway 300mm tall it's still quite appealing</p>
