Description

Eww ...

Now you can have lice of your very own!

I had thought of making my model of a louse with the clear PLA, pausing the print, and then color in a little red magic marker in the abdomen and restarting it. Does anyone know if this will mess up my printer?

Anyways, i made this with White PLA on a replicator2 on the high setting. Tried to make this as small as i could while still being able to save the antennas.

Can anyone make this smaller? ...this is a louse after all.

I just printed one of these out of glow in the dark ABS, came out great. I used Simplify3D and added extra support under all legs and antennae as a precaution and I was amazed at how well the support came away from the fine details.

I have a very nice pic of some bedbugs I found in a hotel if you want them. (I travel a lot)

oo good one. I'll put it on my list!

Nice model! I actually have a lot of respect for these things. They are getting immune to the shampoo that is supposed to kill them. Isopropol alcohol kills them easily but you risk setting yourself on fire. Best to use it sitting in a bath full of water in a well vented bathroom with the door open. You should do a bedbug next.

It shouldn't mess up the printer, no. I wouldn't think so, anyway. Let me know how that comes out if you do it. Love the model, well done.

Why God why...?!
