Summary

"Hasenfranz" is a neat bunny-cookie cutter that will let you cut nice easter cookies :) Mjummy!!

Print out and feel free to use it on your desired cookies mixture!

Instructions

There are two files available.

bun.stl
Either you can try to print the hollow one (which didn't really work for me, because my printer tried to do two walls and infill on that one)....

bun2.stl
...or you can download the solid part and print it without infill material (which worked great for me... see result!). With reprap host software you can set the extruder preferences the way that the machine only creates one shell and no infill (just type "null" in the infill field).
This will give you one single nice wall only and you will get a nice and sharp enough bunny cookie cutter :)

Use preferably PLA to print this, because PLA is used widely for disposable cutlery... I am not sure if ABS is good to make any food related stuff with... (I did use ABS anyway.. if I die you know you should not use ABS...)

Awesome for easter!

I made this as the second item off my new Mendel90 as a surprise for my wife. She loved it, and now is excited about 3d printing. The same night, I showed it to an friend who had heard about my 3d printing hobby but didn't quite "get" it. When she saw it, her eyes lit up and she got excited and ran right in to see the printer.

From these two data points, I can conclude that this rabbit is the perfect gateway drug for 3D printing addictions among cookie makers.

Coming soon: an easter chick cookie cutter!

lovely! nice to see the cookie cutter still attracts people after nearly two years!

Whoa... I love the idea of 0% infill. I'll need to give that a try. It may simplfy my cookie cutter printing quite a bit!

I also made the "print 0%-fill solid object.

Stop it printing before it reaches the top.

I then used a stepper bit on the "bottom" (which becomes the top) to make a hole large enough for a finger. Push the dough out using the finger-hole. Looks kind of cool.

thanks guys :) nice to hear!
