I purchased a King Canada miniature metal lathe which came with a ton of accessories, including spare gears which I will eventually print instead of purchase.

The most common used tools including a cutting bit needed to be stored close by. So I made these 3 holders that when put side by side will store all the accessories neatly and within reach.

Update: Made another holder for a chuck and the point that came with the lathe.

I used doublesided tape, but something that has strong adhesion. The chuck grippers are a little heavier. So I made that part twice as thich so I can put more tape on it. Its about 50mm thick where the other two are 25mm thick.

I stuck them closer to the chuck on the back so as not to vibrate as much since the sheet metal is held together closer to the chuck and doesn't move as much in that location.

There isn't any need for support. Just make sure you print the LatheTools part with the wide square opening up since it tapers towards the bottom. thats about it really.

Thanks for making these! I printed all of them. I'll try and get a picture up for the "I Made One". Had a bit of separation on the chuck key/dead center/chuck holder, but I just filled it in with a bit of epoxy.

I think I used the premium Afinia ABS and thats probably why it kept together. Can't wait to see the pics.
