Quake was the first shooter to use 3D models. I made this for a friend who is a huge Quake-fan for many years now as a birthday present.

Print the monster with full support everywhere.
I don't know yet how to export STL-files from Sketchup. I noticed that the dxf-files are not interpreted right here on Thingiverse, so I'll see if I can solve that.
For now just download the skp-files and export it to your favourite slicer from Sketchup.
If everything prints fine you don't need quake-logo3. I had a lot of trouble with warping so printed the big logo in 2 parts and melted quake-logo1 and quake-logo3 together.
Just print the lava on normal paper and glue it to the surface. I print with PLA and used "Bison Seconde Lijm", a cyanoacrylaat glue.
I painted it with Revell model email paint.
