Description

This is an STL file decribing a Utah Teapot, based on data created by Martin Newell.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utah_teapot

This is a pretty poor model for printing; it's been refined by Unfold since:

Instructions

The CG classic leaps to life! Print out a charming Utah Teapot, and bask in the admiration of your friends and acquaintances as they admire the Sixth Platonic Solid.

Note: useless for actual tea.

This version is based on the original Newell dataset, with the addition of a flat bottom surface for ease of slicing. (The original dataset is a bottomless pot of tea.)

First print ever!!! Thanks. :)

Damn, you beat me to it! 8-) Was busy modeling one... Actually Its funny because I'm modeling it like an actual 'usable' teapot with a wall thickness, a working lid etc etc. I didn't know that skeinforge can actually slice an 'ugly' model like this. Holes, surfaces vs solids etc. Cool to know!

Teatime! :*
Here's a teaproof version:

Ah, I've been wanting this!

We'll see how well the overhang works out..... :B
