I got tired of printing out countless calibration pieces that only ended up getting tossed, so I created this one that can be used afterward as a chip clip. 50mm square, the horizontal inner slots are 20mm x 5mm and the hole is 7mm

Hey is it essential that I disable shell when calibrating? When I disable it the edges aren't smooth and seem to be over extruded. Where as if I enable it the edges are smooth and make the calibration process easier to measure.

I'm thinking I should start with calibrating my e steps and go from there there but was just curious.
