Description

A Project to make Replacement parts for Beyblade Metal Fusion(TM). So far, I have made a standard Performance Tip called Beyblade Base.stl
If you noticed, the first and last picture/file are the same except one id upside down. I recommend printing the upside down one.

The last 4 files are .wings files in case you want to edit it.

I added Beyblade Bases 6 and 7, and hopefully, they will be more printable.

Instructions

1. Download Beyblade Base.
2. Make Your own Performance Tip with it.
3. Print it and upload it as a derivative of this.
OR
1. Download Face Bolt.
2. Print it.
3. :)
4. Yay!
5. Upload a picture!
Thanks to meirm for testing it.

Thanks, my son is very happy with the new base.

My grandson ask me to make him some facebolts. Thought he was crazy till I found out what it was for. You would'nt happen to have the dimensions on these would you? If so I will whip a few up from billet alum. instead of cast. :-D

The measurements of the hexagon's radius to the vertex is 16.37mm, the part above the place with the spiral is 7.98mm, the spiral is also 7.98mm, and the cylinder inside the spiral is 6.5mm.

Hope this helps :)

I tried printing some of the tips but wasn't able to get them to lay flat. ReplicatorG has mostly 90 degree rotations, and when I use the arbitrary rotation to get it mostly flat and upside down, it still wouldn't lay all the way flat. The one that is already in the right position for printing "base2 upsidedown" had too little support on the bridging portion. You might make that cross bar at least the width of the tip. Also make it a little thicker. Bridging like that tends to be pretty loosely attached the first couple of layers. The ring did turn out about the right size though. I think it could stand to be a bit deeper/thicker though too. Printed parts don't have the strength of molded parts, so they tend to need a bit more thickness along each dimension.

Thanks. I will try to fix it based on that. :)

I added the Face Bolt.

I can give the wings file if you want it. :)

My kids will love this when i get around to printing them. Do you have scad files? Also any chance you have a model of the "face" bolt?

I'm way too old to be into Beyblade, but I was into some kind of top game that probably inspired it from ~20 years ago.

That being said, this is really cool.
