Now what you need to do is come up with enough poses that you can make you own TLSG segment with eggs.
I still don't know how they did it. Did they paint a thousand cups with TLSG or did they have stickers that they swapped out? I'm sure they had a bunch that they sliced to do the transitions and kept them around (he's always in the same pose for those ones) but I can't imagine the thousands of poses they must have had on cups.

Then again, cups stack. ...Actually if you think about it that was rather clever. Cell animation on a 3D cell that stands on it's own. Wow, I think I just blew my own mind.

Ladies and gentlemen, the tiny little super guy.

Teeny little super guy, pops right up before your eye, he's no bigger than you thumb. "Snap your fingers, here I come. Now stop me if you've heard this one..." Don't look in the sky, don't look in the sea. He's inside of you and me. "Did I ever tell you about the time..." You can't judge a hero by his size "I'm just a teeny, little, super guy, Oh yeah.

You got it! I was always fascinated by the TLSG segment as a kid - it wasn't til much later in life that I realized how long it had to have taken them to film all those cool transitions like falling through the bottom of a cabinet.

I remember that! Thanks for reminding me how old I am. :)

We'll start an old-folk's nostalgia club. This little segment was always one of my favorites!
