Simple. Elegant. Parametric Faceted bracelet that any lady would love. Looks like a nut. Guess that makes her arm the bolt. =) The must have accessory of the year! As seen on CES 2012 runway, MAKE magazine, and Robot Film Festival red carpet.

My first 3D printed project! Here's the OpenSCAD and STL files.

Collaborative project with http://www.thingiverse.com/beatbots

3D print this bracelet on your makerbot and have fun painting and decorating it. You can print it in different colors and glue rhinestones on it. Mine is spray painted gold and silver.

Parameters Defaults
wristRadius = 32.5; //change based on your how wide you want the inner ring. I measured the radius of my clenched fist

width = 30; //determines the height of your bracelet

sides = 6; //You can tell it how many sides you want now -- change it from 6 to 8 and so on, see how it changes in OpenSCAD.

angle = 20;

This design has been illegally used, by an ebay seller, he/she use pictures from you and doen't give you any credit.

Thanks for the headsup and letting me know. Not cool of the ebay seller. I saw a few articles about the illegal selling of trademarked 3d model designs on ebay: http://3dprint.com/120727/ebay-licensing-3d-models/

Someone human inside ebay is bound to notice, sooner or later, once the same seller gets copyright infringement requests from dozens of different independent authors. Such is my sincere hope, anyway.

i can not print it...i transfered it to G-code, but the printer doesn't start, am I the only one?

About how long did this take to print?

About 30 minutes for the original size. You can reduce the print time by making the bracelet thinner

The soft focus on your picture really solidifies the 80s look.

I set for 0% fill, 1 extra shell, printed in clear PLA, and dropped eight purple beads in to make it rattle.

I love the rattle idea! :) Clever clever.

Chunky! It's like the 80s are back again, again!

Yeah the 80's were the zombie decade. They just keep coming back from the dead...
