Thank you. I have a Cupcake with Brutstruder, Makergear hot end, and aluminum build plate. I'm working on upgrading the Brutstruder to stepper drive. Hence, the PCB vise.

Thanks! Yeah, that's what I like about open hardware.

Great work bld

This is what it
’s all about, take a design and make it better! Looks great!

Instructions

* I printed with external support turned on, which only prints under the shaft and ball joint. Easily cleaned off with a knife and file.
* I used 1/4" rod, so I bored out the pair of holes for that with a 1/4" drill bit by hand, mounting the bit in my cordless drill and rotating the part by hand around the bit.
* I then widened the holes with a small hobby file until the part slid easily on the rod.
* I mounted the part in the Helping Hands without tightening it too much, and rotated it all around so the metal of the mount smoothed the ball out.
* Tighten down and use!
