Linear bearings are sooooo much better than bearing stacks, PLA/brass bushes etc. I see from the STL there is a shoulder at the bottom of the mount for the bearings to rest on. Would 2 x LM8UU (24mm long x 15mm diameter) fit okay, just 3mm poking out the top? Are the bearings just a push fit or is there some other form of retention?

Amazing!! Any pics of your Prusa with the bearings? More!! More!! Bravo!

the motor mount could use a little more space.
