Description

This remote control is for making three motors go forward and reverse. It was designed as a remote for an ROV, underwater robot.

There are three double push double throw switches on this clicker.

Instructions

You laser cut the base and the switches with the spacers in acrylic. Add a strip of conductor such as copper backed adhesive, or something similar along each side of the switch, careful not to connect the side poles.

Add machine screws to the two outer holes on each end of the switch on the base plate. Cross the opposite corners with a wire. Attach a wire that will go to the motor to each of the terminal screws on one end of the switch.

Power goes to the center two screws.

When you push down on the switch, it will make the motor go in one direction. Push down on the other side of the switch, and the motor will go in the reverse direction.
