Dan Moi

Description
I modeled it off of a brass bass Dan Moi, but the sound is much closer to a bamboo one. While this will not replace a nice brass Dan Moi, you can print this on a well-tuned Makerbot!
Here is a YouTube video of the Dan Moi in action: youtube.com/watch?v=enHMpn5SC5w

Instructions
You play this like any other mouth harp. It should be touching your lips, and the tongue should be able to freely move. Pluck the end, and you should hopefully be making some sounds.

By the way, I got really good quality using 0 extra shells and about 0.5 infill
I had to scale it to 85% to fit on my platform - have not figured out why I cannot use the whole area... But it printed and plays
Wow this makes for an awesome quick demo print to hand out to people. By the way, I found this page helpful to figure out how to make it work: http://www.danmoi.de/shop/inde...

I never used one before and I was totally amazed when the sound started coming out of my mouth. :)
Wow who would want to protect those teeth in the last picture? It's like laquering a rusty car body...
I just uploaded an updated version of it, but I'm no longer at the hackerspace to try it out. It should hopefully resonate a bit longer. I'll give it a try tomorrow.
Wow, nice print! Glad it worked for you right away. I'm going to do some keyed versions once we get our ToM better tuned.

Printing a thing and making music with it: priceless!
Thanks for a great model :-)
