Description
Part of my proposed Hotel Set, which will comprise a Decent Coaster, a Tiny Soap Dish, a Pocket Door Stop, a Concise Door Hanger, and a Fork or Chopstick Rest.
It's an internally self-draining coaster for use in a hotel. You never have a decent coaster in a hotel room.
See my article here on my blog.
New version of coaster, both STL and source from Sketchup drawing.

view allI printed this, but didn't realize it was a work in progress. The bottom of the coaster is not flat, which made the print pretty difficult. Only the outside rim touches the build platform. If the inner part of this circle were touching the platform, that would help the design.
The teeth in the center are prone to breaking. The bottoms of these pillars should probably be tapered into the bottom (as opposed to coming down flush at a right angle) for added strength.
I think the teeth in the center are pretty far apart. I'd probably prefer them closer together.
