Description
A fan shroud for the ultimaker. Together with a 5mm fan, this one delivers a nice cool breeze of air to the object being printed without cooling the extruder head too much.
The stock fan shroud (piece of laser cut plastic that needs to be folded) didn't work well for me, it touched the extruder head and started to melt..

Thanks for sharing! Very efficient albeit difficult to print. I was successful when I repaired the file using netfabb and printed at a slightly lower temp using PLA.

I tried to print this shroud for my Ultimaker, but the "ceiling part" was not succesful.
The bridgegap was too long.
Why have not you added a few more diagonal studs in addition to the single central one.
Please present is an update.

Nice upgrade!! B.t.w. the current shroud has already been redesigned to stay away from the hot parts a bit more. Of course you had to go and order your Ultimaker as soon as possible ;)
B.t.w. I tagged it Ultimaker to automagically show up on the wiki, here:

I used my Ultimaker to print this through netfabb.
Long the edge of the cylinder it became a small gap.
And the four "ears" was taren off when i lifted it up..
I used weak support structure, so it bacame an ok result after i ran over it with my dremel.
Sorry for my english 8-)
