Here is a small wooly sheep.

It was created with 123D Catch from a ceramic garden ornament. The ornament contains reflective additions and is white and shiny - see image. It was dulled with fine chocolate powder to aid 123D Catch.

The orginal sheep is 20 cm wide, 35 cm long, and 30 cm high. Wooly_sheep.stl is 33 mm wide, 57 mm long and 48 mm high, or an approximately 1/6 scale version.

It can be printed directly on the build platform. I used 5% infill and 2 shells and it printed in about 75 minutes. The ears overhang slightly but the print was fine.

This sheep looks so amazing. The bumpmapped surface is so great. (worked just great with makerbot mini).

I made an alien version of this: https://tinkercad.com/things/3EJryVtVNpt-alien-sheep http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:646428
I made it in glow-in-the-dark lime. It worked out great, but the supports between the legs were herd to remove and there is still some residue. One of its antennae broke off after a while, but that's my fault, not yours.

Congratulations on being featured!

Good model the facial features could maybe do with a little emphasis so they print well on all printers.

Nice job may friend

Very cute! Thanks for the next member of my wife's growing menagerie of plastic animals!

Can it be printed on a print bot simple?

Printed on the Print Bot Simple last night. Worked great.

Great little sheep. I just printed a BIG version of it and it took 15 hours to complete. Some minor problems around the ears, and under the belly - but the print came out great with a lovely texture!

this is a great Catch scan. I have never been able to get a coherent model using that process, so, bravo!
