Headset hook / wire clip by JostaX Jun 25, 2011

Description

After the fifth time when the from-the-store, cheap plastic hook broke, I designed and made my own. I use it to hang my computer headset under my desk when I an not using it. The hook can be also used as a wire clip, to organize the wires.

There are two versions, smaller 20x10mm and 30x15mm. The larger one is the one I am using for my Logitech USB headset.

The part is designed using SolidWorks 2011

Added hanger tag for the taghunt.

yep, think side printing will be really strong too.

To have no supports to clean and less delamination risk, I think I would do the base the same width than the clip and print it on the side.

Nice little thing btw!

Cut the support, to open the hook
Cut a piece of a double-sided sticky tape and apply on the back. 3M thick double-sided tape works for me.
Attach under your desk, a bit away so you do not knock down the headset when you move your chair.
Enjoy your clutter free desk!
