Featured Thing!

Description

*** FEATURED on Thingiverse! ***
In ancient times, hundreds of years before the dawn of history, an ancient race of people... the Druids. No one knows who they were or what they were doing... Though they may have been printing an 18" Stonehenge that, I am told, is in danger of being crushed by a dwarf.

This was my very first Thingiverse submission, posted entirely as a joke and never intended to be printed! Tony Buser *did* print it anyway, and was kind enough to post his fixed remix (see right). There is also a version on a medallion, if you want to actually keep the print.

If I printed this I would be afraid to touch it when I removed from the board

Sorry for the multiple posts. There seems to be a bug in the script...

It would be interessant, to have a model of stonehenge as it was when it was fully functional.

I keep considering building a printer that goes to 11. That way, when everyone else is printing away at 10, you can just kick it up a little bit more.

I tried to convert a model someone had done on Sketchup Warehouse and failed. I'm going to have to download this. It reminds me of SpinalTap.

Lol! Just had to go and watch it on youtube. I drive past the real thing quite frequently, perhaps I'll have to print this. On 11.
