A device for picking out of reach fruit, e.g. pears. A pair of secateurs is clamped to the end of a pipe and operated remotely by a string threaded through an eyelet by pulling on a handle. See http://hydraraptor.blogspot.com/2009/09/pear-shaped.html.
Obviously the design of the clamp is specific to the Wilkinson Sword secateurs that I used.
The parts are a tight fit on 16mm pipe when printed in PLA. They might need expanding a bit if printed in ABS. The pipe I used was hanging rail from a wardrobe. 15mm plumbing pipe is probably cheaper and more common.
