LiPo battery holder by Geir Jun 30, 2011

Description

This is probably something that you SCAD guys (and girls) should have a go at as this would be great as a parametric model.

My SketchUp model is for the Flightmax 1000 LiPo battery but could probably be scaled to your needs. The walls are only 1mm thick but has enough strength to keep your battery in place. I did not add any mounting holes so it’s up to you to change the model. Mine will probably be glued in place.

On a personal note I must add that the print quality is great after I changed the settings for – Extra Shells- to zero.

It
’s a regular ToM with a heated build platform. The only thing I have changed from the factory setting is the – Extra Shells -
Nothing special is done to the ToM

A really clean print! What printer do you use? Really nice quality!

Your absolutely right my friend. The
’F’ is hidden within the logo. So I’ll change the text. This is the battery http://www.hobbyking.com/hobby...

Are you sure it is not 'Flightmax' instead of 'Lithtmax'. That is a subbrand carrier by the hobby king.

But anyhow, a holder for different size lipos is quite an unsratched ich, velcro only works so-so.
