Description

Tired of standing in my shop, I threw together this workshop stool. It's press-fit (requires no glue or screws) and works fairly well. This version twists more than I'd like. Next time I need a stool I'll add supports between legs near the floor.

This particular design was replaced with http://www.thingiverse.com/thi... which is much sturdier.

That said, using MDF as the material means that the seat gets a little wobblier over time as the holes widen from the pressures of sitting. A harder material would do better. Next time I would use carpentry plywood.

How is the MDF holding up to use and loading?
