This is another example of why some remote places in the world, such as the settlement at the south pole, could use a makerbot.  Simple parts such as door handles would not be available for months at a time.

I think that there's something wrong with the current .scad file - it's only 170 bytes and appears to contain just the variables

Instructions

You can adjust the screw size, spacing, countersink dimensions and the handle dimensions in the openscad file.

The STL file is set up for #8 screws on 2.1 inch centers.

Too Funny. For Six years I've had a cobbled-on antique handle that just broke two weeks ago. I've been fumbling all this time and this year - duh - I coulda designed and printed one but, I did not. Then snooping tonight - here is yours. So, tomorrow I'll print, install and enjoy every 100 times a day we go through the door.

That's the great thing about thingiverse! I haven't had a handle on our door for 6 years since we bought the house. I figured someone else might be in a similar situation.

It's nice to occasionally make something useful with the makerbot!
