I'm an assistant professor of computer science and electrical engineering at UMBC, just outside Baltimore, Maryland. My Interactive Robotics and Language group, iral.cs.umbc.edu, does research in robotics and natural language, and specifically how robots can learn about the world from interaction, including by talking with people. We use 3D printing to make parts as needed, but also for fun.
