Composite Knots and Links

by DesignByNumbers, last updated

Description

This is collection of mathematical knots and links. Mathematical knots are tied in closed loops of rope, while mathematical links are composed of more than one such loop, entangled so that the loops cannot be separated from one another. These knots and links are called "composite", meaning that they can be obtained by splicing together simpler knots and links. There is no classification of composite links, so we cannot be absolutely sure that this collection is complete.
