In Spring of 2016, I joined a Kickstarter for the Trium Delta printer. Could not take the wait for the Kickstarter machine, so I got a Monoprice Maker Select i3 V2.1 for a steal during an Amazon sale, and managed to find the Fabrikator Mini available & on sale at Hobby King as well, to hold me over until the Trium arrived. When I received thr Trium kit, it worked, mostly, then didn't. Been tinkering with it in my spare time, but as of March, 2017, I now have a Folgertech FT-5 on the way.
20 years ago, I was relatively fluent in CAD, but will surely start over as a novice now. Here to look and learn. I am doing well with Tinkercad online, but it is easy to see its limitations. Currently beginning to self teach Fusion 360, and hope to be creating some more elegant designs by the end of 2017.
