I make a variety of unusual things including armor from re-purpoused materials, mechanical props, etc. As a part of this I sometimes make custom parts for projects I'm working on or just other things that pop into my head.
Along the way I've had opportunities to work on exciting projects. I am the co-creator of the Robohand device, a set of non-electronic mechanical fingers. More recently I collaborated with the University of Washington MESA foundation on integrating 3D printing into their project based learning.
I love the Maker community and the concept of sharing ideas with like minds! I look forward to what the future of additive manufacturing holds.
