I spend most of my time helping other people with their projects at i3 Detroit. Once in a while I do my own, but that's less fun and less social.
I don't do much CAD work, so don't expect me to post here very often. The vast majority of my stuff is eyeballed, guesstimated, tried-and-erred, slapped together, last-minute, tinker-til-it-works-then-ship-it! The funny thing is, most of it works on the first try.
On the rare occasion that I program, it usually takes the form of a proof-of-concept batch file or qbasic abomination, which eventually embarrasses a "real" programmer into replacing it with a good one. Maintenance becomes their problem, but I still get credit for the idea. Elegant, no?
